Chastity Bono's Sex Change

The daughter of Sonny and Cher, who came out of the closet 20 years ago, started the procedure for a sex change earlier this year. Reports are now referring to Chastity Bono as "he" instead of "she" and "Chaz" instead of "Chastity".

I've only met one person in real life who was in the middle of a sex change and that was a man changing into a woman. She dressed like a woman from the hair to the make-up to the jewelry (it's a little disconcerting seeing a person who obviously started as a man wearing white gold anklets but that's our problem, not hers right?).
