Thai Rath David Carradine Death Photo

I heard a paper in Thailand, Thai Rath, published a David Carradine death photo. What? Why would anybody do this?

I write several blogs but never would I publish a photo like that. A few weeks ago, there was a photo of a girl who'd died in a car accident published elsewhere that had everybody panting over seeing it. The reports were that some sicko had even sent it to this girl's family. I don't get that. I find in disgusting.

He died (for whatever reason, he's gone). Let the family get through their investigation and grieve in peace now.

David Carradine Passes Away - June 3, 2009

>> Friday, June 5, 2009

Rumors swirled when David Carradine was found dead in his hotel room...first it was suicide which was unbelievable according to those close to him, then accidental death (by auto-erotic asphyxiation) or murder. I'm thinking if the rumors are true, it is the second one which is a really sad way for a well-known, long-time actor to be remembered.

Reports are saying that he was not alone in his hotel room at the time of his death but who was with him has been withheld. True? Don't know.

According to Wikipedia:

"Erotic asphyxiation refers to intentionally cutting off oxygen to the brain for sexual arousal. It is also called asphyxiophilia, autoerotic asphyxia, scarfing, kotzwarraism, or breath control play. Colloquially, a person engaging in the activity is sometimes called a gasper. The erotic interest in asphyxiation is classified as a paraphilia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association. Psychiatrist Joseph Merlino stated that it meets the criteria for a disorder "because it has the potential for lethality or serious injury."

You might remember, Michael Hutchence, lead singer of INXS, was also rumored to have died this way.

My thoughts go out to David Carradine's family regardless of the final report on how he passed away. With over 100 feature films behind him, he should be remembered for his lifetime of work, not his last day.

Tori Spelling Poses Pregnant in Maternity Suit

>> Thursday, June 4, 2009

Celebrities seemed to have cleared the way for wearing a swimsuit while pregnant. When I was pregnant, I never saw pregnant women in maternity suits. In fact, I never even took a picture of my bare pregnant belly! Now I see them everywhere posing in their proud pregnant state or just lifting their top for a quick picture to keep. I've watched my younger sisters post their baby bump pictures in a maternity suit on Facebook!

Take, for instance, Tori Spelling posing with the obvious baby bump in several different bikinis in magazines recently. She seems very proud of her maternal body, like a lot of other celebrities who choose to pose in a maternity swimsuit (or less if you are Demi Moore who paved the way for it years ago).

Joe Jonas Does "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)"

>> Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Oh. My. Gosh. I don't know what else to say. I'm speechless.

OK, I better talk a bit about it. I've seen this done by many different people since Beyonce released the video to her song, Single Ladies (Put a ring on it), but seeing Joe Jonas in heels and a bodysuit doing this song just made my jaw drop.

It's popular with my Joe Jonas loving daughter. She wants me to email it everywhere to show everybody. Maybe pre-teens and teenagers would like seeing Joe Jonas in a bodysuit but not me. I always thought he was a cute kid but I wouldn't have the guts to do something like this.

It is obviously a publicity stunt for their new CD (Lines, Vines and Trying Times) releasing on June 16th but wow! That video will NEVER disappear. Hope he never wants to run for office!
