Farrah Fawcett's Cancer

>> Wednesday, May 13, 2009

It's sad to hear the reports of Farrah Fawcett's battle with cancer. It's really not anymore sad than families around the world watching loved ones battle and waste away before their eyes though, it's just more public. Seeing that she's left the hospital and that her son with Ryan O'Neal, who is in jail, was allowed out to see her I have to think she's gone home to live the rest of her days without being hooked into a hospital and that those days are numbered unless a miracle happens. I could be wrong but it would be what I would do. I wouldn't want to spend my last days in a hospital. I'd want to be home.

Being that I am going in for my own biopsy on Monday, thoughts of cancer have been in the front of my mind recently as well.

Wanda Sykes, Rush Limbaugh & Twins

Everybody is talking about what Wanda Sykes said about Rush Limbaugh at the White House Correspondents Dinner last week. I've heard all about it countless times, but did you know she and her wife had twins at the end of April? Surprised the heck out of me. I didn't even know she was gay. Who knows. Only time will tell (unless she does first).

Janeane Garofalo Tea Party Opinion - What an Ass

>> Monday, April 20, 2009

Anybody who doesn't have the same opinion as Janeane Garofalo and chooses to exercise their rights are racists and red-neck? Give me a break. I don't agree with the huge debt that is being put on my children and future grandchildren by Obama and his Administration with all the bailouts and pork. I wasn't at any of the demonstrations but if there had been one locally, I might have been as is my right. I don't think that makes me a racist or a red-neck. I have free speech/expression and the freedom to peacefully assemble. I guess this actress has the same right to spew the hate she did and insult anybody who doesn't agree with Obama's moves so far but she just made herself look like a radical idiot in my personal opinion.
